As the proverb goes, 'It takes a village to raise a child,' emphasizing the vital role of community support, we are dedicated to strengthening the single motherhood community through the Calgary Single Mothers Society. We believe in the power of collaboration, combining our skills and experience to creatively address the needs of single mothers and their families. In our developing stages, we are committed to projects tailored to these needs, focusing on compassionate support, education, and resilience-building. Our mission is to empower single mothers by providing them with the tools they need to thrive. Tutoring Club
If you're seeking academic support for your child, consider joining our Tutoring Club. Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to register promptly to secure your spot.
Business Support Grant
Attention single moms who have launched their own businesses within the past 6 months to 1 year: We're here to support you! Our Business Support Grant offers financial assistance and mentorship to help you thrive and succeed in your entrepreneurial journey.
Star Award
We believe in recognizing and celebrating individuals who make a difference in our community. Our Star Award is dedicated to honoring those who have gone above and beyond to serve and uplift others. Join us in celebrating the unsung heroes of our community.
